Sullivan Farm is operated by the New Milford Youth Agency along with 41 energetic youth between the ages of 12 and 21. The Agency--a community non profit organization providing innovative programming to foster the well-being of New Milford youth--established Sullivan Farm 8 years ago.
Sullivan Farm produces organic veggies, berries, honey and maple syrup all of which are available at Sullivan's farm stand. Participating youth take part in all aspects of running the farm, including planting, growing and harvesting crops; selling them at Sullivan’s farm stand; and preparing them for distribution to local schools and restaurants. Sullivan Farm also provides on and off-farm educational programming for local elementary school classes.
Sullivan Farm recently received it’s state license to make jams and jellies! Their kids have been busy making preserves all summer – be sure to try them!
