Search Tips

1. Enter Product or Farm name into the search box. - If you just want to search for a specific town then type in the location name and hit GO. (any combination of product, farm, or town will also yield search results)

2. If you are looking for something specific such as a farmers' market or a restaurant then do so by choosing either from the pull down menu labelled "Anywhere". You can also search for just producers in this menu as well.

3. Select the distance you are willing to travel (5mi to 250mi). This will give you a radial search of however many miles from the zip code you enter (Hartford is the default zip code). Now hit GO to see the search results.

Drop in any time between 1 pm and 3 pm Friday afternoon for cultural and natural history activities at the Museum. Participants can check out the Museum's new exhibit, Human's Nature, join in a fun hands-on activity, and explore a different aspect of the world around us through experimentation and observation! During this Friday Afternoons at the Museum program participants will enjoy a lunch-based snack and learn about the surprising biodiversity and origins of lunch foods. Students entering grades 1 through 5, accompanied by an adult.
