In the early 1900’s it was used to grow potatoes and raise cows. The land tells a multi-generational story of Connecticut agriculture, and the soil—rich from years of careful farming—is fertile ground for a thriving nursery business.  Laura personally selects the varieties of the plants that Hortus Perennials grows and is proud to offer so much more than your standard nursery stock.  With years of gardening experience, Laura will help you find exactly what you are looking for and tell you precisely how to make it flourish in your garden.
