Treat Farm

About Treat Farm

For the Wilson family, farming is part of a very long family tradition.  In fact, Treats (from whom they are descended) have been farming in Connecticut since the 1700s.  Once a thriving dairy, Treat Farm is now a 90 acre farm owned by siblings Heather, Jeff & Shelby and their families.  In the summer and fall, Jeff and his wife Caroline grow a wide variety of vegetables that you can find at their busy farmstand.  The stand opens in mid-July when the first of their much in-demand sweet corn is ready for picking.  In the autumn months, the whole farm is decorated for the celebration of the harvest season.  In November & December, the farm is a popular location for cut-your-own Christmas trees with over 5,000 trees to choose from.  Pre-cut trees, beautiful hand-decorated wreaths and a variety of garland, swags and other seasonal items are also available.
