About Hindinger Farm
When you visit Hindinger Farm, you will have the whole Hindinger family at your disposal. Liz and her mother Anne manage the retail stand, while George, the other sibling, oversees the orchard and vegetable production. George's father-in-law even helps out at the farmers' markets in Hamden and New Haven.
Not only is the farm family owned and operated, it has been producing quality fruits and vegetables since the 1950's when George and Liz's grandfather converted it from dairy production. You'll enjoy fresh, juicy peaches and crisp, Fall apples from "Century Farm" trees, as well as strawberries, cut flowers, summer vegetables and sweet corn fresh from the stalk. Don't miss the annual Strawberry Festival the Saturday before Father's Day!
