My name is Patrick Beal. I am farmer at Beal Family Farms located in Cornwall Bridge. We lease land from Stonewall Dairy, our areas raw milk provider. We grow high quality produce. We use well managed composted collected from the Stonewall Dairy cows, chickens, and pigs. We practice minimal tillage and are working towards no till beds.
My favorite way to eat vegetables is from the field right to my mouth and so is my daughters so we make sure that it is possible. We don’t use pesticides. We only use organic and natural soil amendments when needed.
We grow colorful varieties and some of the traditional favorites.
Growing in the field so far is yellow onions, yellow onions that matures with blush red outer skin, purple cauliflower, purple cabbage, purple kale mix, white cauliflower, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, red snap bush beans, yellow and purple snap bush beans, cucumbers, green and yellow zucchini, cutting lettuce, arugula, peas, mustard, heirloom tomatoes, multi color sweet peppers, a variety of hot peppers, lemon basil, Thai basil, Genovese basil, red and green okra and red celery.
We are planting now our winter squash.
